    that’s a neat idea

    in lieu of mass popularity and scale (e.g., YouTube), I like that you’re trying to stimulate and foster community, activity/engagement, and higher-effort videos from the instance side of things

    I guess? How do they get engagement from users that aren’t posting videos? Who’s the creator supposed to engage with? Other creators? Or are they just relying on watchers that have made an account elsewhere to be able to watch and comment on the vids?

    I made this comment here because I dont have a peer tube login yet and couldn’t make one there?

    Edit: Nvm. Always impressed by fediverse. Can post with Mastodon and the like. Neat!

      Yes. You can use mastodon and other microblog services on the Fediverse to see, follow, and comment on anyone with a public PeerTube channel.

      All you need is that channel‘s account name. For example, mine is @[email protected] and if you search for it, and you find the profile, you can follow it.
