Last-minute Alito recusal In a surprise move, the court notified lawyers in the case just one week before argument that Justice Samuel Alito had decided not to participate. The court clerk provided no explanation in his letter. But environmental organizations and watchdog groups had been calling for Alito’s recusal because of his investments in Phillips 66 and ConocoPhillips.

He’s thinking about stepping down I thought I saw… maybe he doesn’t want to put his name on another insanely evil decision right beforehand so he doesn’t get protestors outside his lake house/beach bungalow/ yacht?
I think it’s more likely he was told they don’t need his vote.

If this goes as expected, we’ll get more cancer, more premature death and worse quality of life. This court is so corrupt that, in a fair system, the majority of “justices” would have been impeached and removed long ago.

There would have been more ‘befitting’ things that happenedd to them than just ‘impeached’ lol. But this is the system the people want cause the people havent substantiated any substantial actions to change this yet… so…
