    idk man… EU parliament is a pretty right-wing institution, 60% of MEPs are from center-right to right wing parties. and the recent Chat Control, and Kids Act are really overreachy.

    Obviously rejoining is a very good thing for economy and I believe will improve people’s lives. I am really torn on this

      Rejoining the common market is a no brainer but not sure about the pros & cons of full EU membership. Good that we’re thinking about it at least though.

        Rejoining the common market without EU membership means we have to follow all the rules while having zero say on the creation of those rules. EU membership means we get many seats in the European Parliament; either the 2nd or 3rd highest number of seats (after Germany and perhaps France, due to population sizes). That means the UK would have a big say in the rules which would apply to us.
