this guy would do well in Australia. When asked during our 2020 mega fires, our then deputy prime minister was asked why the fires were so disastrous, as a climate denier I assume the journalist was trying to “gotcha” him, he replied because of extreme green environmental legislation.
That dude was reelected, many times.

The first amendment does not require folks to listen to you or to give credence to your words. Just says you have the right to speak it.
What a weasel. He doesn’t have a problem with anyone else recording, just her, in a public forum where everyone else is recording. He even tried to get a cop involved, and then tries to get the other press to turn on her.

The media isn’t showing or transcribing the second video. I had a hard time finding it as well. I hope the voters get to see it.

No reasonable expectation of privacy during a press conference where others are recording or where you’re giving public comments to a crowd, even in a private setting/property. It appears he doesn’t know the law as well as he claimed.
Kudos to the reporter for asking the question regardless of his stupidity.
