Boop!
Such a cute kitty!!!
Ah! We have a version of the tragedeigh sub over here too! It’s only got one post though, but this would fit right in it!
Oh my bad! I must have clicked the “iOS Test Flight” link first earlier.
Thanks for the clarification! Ive requested my access, so I’m stoked!
The moment it becomes available for Android, I’ll partake! I was/am a fan of TikTok. I learned a lot about world happenings from people as they experienced it first hand.
I know lots of people here hate TikTok because they think its a bunch of people dancing or whatever, but I saw a lot of good shit on that app.
John Brown called it out at his trial pre-Civil War.
For those who are unaware, he was a white abolitionist who facilitated a slave rebellion in Harper’s Ferry, WV. He was caught and ultimately executed for his “crimes”, but at his trial he basically said if he had done the same thing for the rich and powerful, he’d have been lauded as a hero, but since he did it for the poor and enslaved, he was branded a criminal.
Relevant Excerpt: “I have another objection, and that is, that it is unjust that I should suffer such a penalty. Had I interfered in the manner, and which I admit has been fairly proved, – for I admire the truthfulness and candor of the greater portion of the witnesses who have testified in this case, – had I so interfered in behalf of the Rich, the Powerful, the Intelligent, the so–called Great, or in behalf of any of their friends, either father, mother, brother, sister, wife, or children, or any of that class, and suffered and sacrificed what I have in this interference, it would have been all right. Every man in this Court would have deemed it an act worthy a reward, rather than a punishment.”

I highly recommend people read his full speech if they haven’t. Pretty powerful stuff from a man who wanted the right thing done but wasn’t going to wait around for others to do it for him.
But yeah, America has been owned by the rich and powerful since forever.
You know what? I actually just saw her perform over the summer and she is still Queen status.
Better artist anyhow. You right!
Oof yeah. I’m so sorry about that.
I was never a Neil Gaiman girlie, not because of any vibes or anything, I was just reading other shit in my youth. But it was VERY clear from that thread that he was a very beloved author who touched a lot of lives. A LOT of people seem heartbroken about that.
Finding out those we look up to are awful incarnate is the worst feeling.
I am so fucking on board with this, lfg!
Maaaaannnn, all these people in here are clowning on her for her shitty music. But “Before He Cheats” was my way to own my “Drunk Basic White Lady” status at Karaoke. Now I can’t even be a stereotype anymore.
Jokes aside, fuck you Carrie Underwood. I was a fan in my youth and grew out of your music, but there was still two or three songs I got good nostalgia vibes from. Not anymore!
Ugh I hate when people I’ve supported turns out to be monsters.
Care Credit? If you have good credit when you sign up for it, its legit.
Our Shiba Inu racked up a $20K surgery last spring, and $10K of it had to go on a Care Credit card. They gave us like 8 months 0% interest.
You can use it for any medical bills, but thats now specifically our “Oh fuck a dog emergency!” Card.
Fuck that sounds cozy!
My people!!!
Nah fam. I’m a woman living in Texas and I’ll take fighting for abortion rights and closing the wage gap here in the US over living in Afghanistan any day of the week.
Our situations are not even close, and I think you know that.
Oof, this is rough to admit even anonymously as someone who cares about the environment:
I really like the feeling of being both hot and cold at the same time, so when the temps finally drop in my area, I like to crack the window open beside my computer and then sit with a space heater. Sometimes when I drive to work in the winter, I also like to crack my windows and have the heat blasting.
Bruh, this fact right here is truly what made me give up on Texas. Gerrymandering IS a valid excuse for the federal elections.
But when Greg Abbott, and Dan Patrick won AGAIN?!, I immediately was like “Fuck this state and everyone in it. We get what we deserve.”
Bruh I’ve lived in Japan, Germany, and Qatar, and all those places had birds.
TL;DR Letting celebrities of any stature dictate your direction in life/morals is fucking weird.
I’m a T-Swizzle fan. Her song lyrics “Anti-Hero” legit spoke to me on a weirdly personal level.
I still think that the worship of her is bizarre. When she publicly endorsed Biden/Harris, it was cool in a “Oh hey, this person that I like is on the correct side of history” kinda way. But the people who suddenly registered to vote because of it? That gave me a really weird/gross feeling.
Pretty much anyone who makes large (possibly life altering) decisions based off what a celebrity does gives me SUCH weird vibes. Its, for lack of a better word, cult-adjacent. And that phenomenon is a small part of why I’m so staunchly pro-public education.
Bruh, you just made my fucking MONTH with the knowledge that this is on Steam! I never even thought to look for it there.
Holy nostalgia. I spent so many hours as a child trying to beat this game!
Just bought the complete pack for $2. Thank you for this!
I do! Bailey Sarian is a queen and I did indeed learn about Aqua Tofana from her video on it! I figured it was an appropriate username given the rise in redpill content/choices that certain governments have made in recent times, haha.
I saw the other post you made of your kitty chilling the other day as well! Tell her I’m a huge fan, and I’ll always upvote pictures of that cutie!
