  • I do! Bailey Sarian is a queen and I did indeed learn about Aqua Tofana from her video on it! I figured it was an appropriate username given the rise in redpill content/choices that certain governments have made in recent times, haha.

I saw the other post you made of your kitty chilling the other day as well! Tell her I’m a huge fan, and I’ll always upvote pictures of that cutie!

  • The moment it becomes available for Android, I’ll partake! I was/am a fan of TikTok. I learned a lot about world happenings from people as they experienced it first hand.

I know lots of people here hate TikTok because they think its a bunch of people dancing or whatever, but I saw a lot of good shit on that app.

  • John Brown called it out at his trial pre-Civil War.

For those who are unaware, he was a white abolitionist who facilitated a slave rebellion in Harper’s Ferry, WV. He was caught and ultimately executed for his “crimes”, but at his trial he basically said if he had done the same thing for the rich and powerful, he’d have been lauded as a hero, but since he did it for the poor and enslaved, he was branded a criminal.

Relevant Excerpt: “I have another objection, and that is, that it is unjust that I should suffer such a penalty. Had I interfered in the manner, and which I admit has been fairly proved, – for I admire the truthfulness and candor of the greater portion of the witnesses who have testified in this case, – had I so interfered in behalf of the Rich, the Powerful, the Intelligent, the so–called Great, or in behalf of any of their friends, either father, mother, brother, sister, wife, or children, or any of that class, and suffered and sacrificed what I have in this interference, it would have been all right. Every man in this Court would have deemed it an act worthy a reward, rather than a punishment.”

I highly recommend people read his full speech if they haven’t. Pretty powerful stuff from a man who wanted the right thing done but wasn’t going to wait around for others to do it for him.

But yeah, America has been owned by the rich and powerful since forever.

  • Maaaaannnn, all these people in here are clowning on her for her shitty music. But “Before He Cheats” was my way to own my “Drunk Basic White Lady” status at Karaoke. Now I can’t even be a stereotype anymore.

Jokes aside, fuck you Carrie Underwood. I was a fan in my youth and grew out of your music, but there was still two or three songs I got good nostalgia vibes from. Not anymore!

Ugh I hate when people I’ve supported turns out to be monsters.

  • Oof, this is rough to admit even anonymously as someone who cares about the environment:

I really like the feeling of being both hot and cold at the same time, so when the temps finally drop in my area, I like to crack the window open beside my computer and then sit with a space heater. Sometimes when I drive to work in the winter, I also like to crack my windows and have the heat blasting.

  • TL;DR Letting celebrities of any stature dictate your direction in life/morals is fucking weird.

I’m a T-Swizzle fan. Her song lyrics “Anti-Hero” legit spoke to me on a weirdly personal level.

I still think that the worship of her is bizarre. When she publicly endorsed Biden/Harris, it was cool in a “Oh hey, this person that I like is on the correct side of history” kinda way. But the people who suddenly registered to vote because of it? That gave me a really weird/gross feeling.

Pretty much anyone who makes large (possibly life altering) decisions based off what a celebrity does gives me SUCH weird vibes. Its, for lack of a better word, cult-adjacent. And that phenomenon is a small part of why I’m so staunchly pro-public education.
