Great suggestion !
Navigate in the community session and search through hundreds of non-political one; Hobbies, books, tv series, anime, movie, ecc. You can also use this lemmy explorer site : https://lemmyverse.net/
About that, the “Communities” page on Piefed has a counter of weekly active users, so you can use that to find active communities. There are also feeds on https://piefed.social/feeds that can help find communities on a specific topic, and can be subscribed from other instances

1·3 months agoI filtered “musk”, “trump”, reduced the amount of US politics post tremendously
I might add “kirk” at some point, depending how much it’s still discussed in the coming weeks

2·3 months agoThe voting agents can still be identified
Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the agents?
IIRC @[email protected] also showed that it was trivial to map the voting agents with the user based on the comments
If you can’t change your agent, then a patched version of lemvotes can do that mapping
If you can change your agent, you have puppet accounts on steroids

4·3 months agoCensorship isn’t bad anyways when there’s a good reason (ex: hate speech)
Hate speech should be removed by mods or admins

3·3 months agoProblem is: Lemmy’s algorithm is shit and doesn’t learn from our preferences. If it did, we would see less posts that we dislike
Piefed has keyword filters that can help with that issue.

4·3 months agoYour problem is that you can’t delist your community from /c/all.
Your admin can, that’s a more effective way to deal with that than downvoting
