Thanks for pointing that out, it is Discovery’s decision. For their part though, Sony is still at fault as they didn’t demand perpetual use rights for content sold on their store, or at least a full refund for the customer.
It looks like the biggest culprit is poor or non existent lod’s on the models. Strikes me as odd though as that’s a pretty basic art requirement for a game like this. I don’t see how this took them by suprise.
I guess the good news is that’s it’s easily fixable. It’s not like ksp2 which looks like it has some pretty unsolvable core issues.

There’s a number of tipping points, some which we may have passed already but I don’t think there are any beyond the ability of mankind to counter by simply reducing emissions. Seeing as we’re the greatest contributor to greenhouse gases by a mile.

Technical artist for real-time. Mainly vr. 9/10. I think it’s the most interesting job in the world, where art and tech meet, my two favourite things. Plus I get to work from home on cool stuff, and the turnover of new projects several times a year keeps it fresh. I think the worst part of the job is that it’s a bit niche so you can’t really talk about your work with anyone out of the industry. There’s no frame of reference. My friends and family don’t really know what I do.
