Story time: The first time I heard this song was getting out of US Navy boot camp. I walked into my barracks room, and my bunkmate was drunk and knew I was fresh out of boot camp and the same age as him (older compared to who you would think would join the military). The first sound I heard was this song when I walked in. He is deadpan and blanked-face when he casually turns to look at me and asks while pointing at the screen, “You know anything about this song?” I responded with “No, but I’m always happy to learn new things.” Guy was my drinking buddy for over 2 years.

I feel ya. I always thought that there’s bands that are always better in studio than concert. And bands better in concert than studio. For example, GWAR is amazing in concert, but I can’t stand most of their songs on album. But on the opposite side, As I Lay Dying needed to be on album to be good.

It’s all trash redditor implants who think they’re opinions are absolute and make the fediverse politically, individualized, and nonsensical garbage. First time I logged in and contributing to the fediverse in about a month, and of course, I see this that makes me immediately pissy.

Yes. More people that get offended at the words “rape” and “kill” are exactly what the fediverse need. This is total pandering for the sake of members and publicity. And no one needs to worry.
