Why would we blame that on him?

Here’s the video https://x.com/darwinmedals/status/1748851166404821194?s=46 pretty awful :-(
Just seems like a better design would be if no bolts existed (like from them loosening over time and falling off), it would still be sealed perfectly fine. The obvious failure point is the bolts and seems they could do better.
I don’t get why they don’t just make it a bit bigger on the inside so that when pressurized, the pressure itself seals it. Seems like a fail safe solution instead of this shadiness.
CD-RW isn’t compatible on many basic CD players like CD-Rs are so unless you have a player that you know supports RW, it’s usually best to go with R.
There are government decency rules about what can be broadcast on over the air television and i have a feeling people beating the shit out of each other wouldn’t be deemed acceptable. Would be nice, but don’t see it happening.
Bingo. People just use what’s on the phone at the start.
This kind of stuff is just another reason that reinforces my decision to switch from Plex to Jellyfin. Plex is just adding way too much bloat and unnecessary features.
Far cry 5 is one of my favorite far cry games so I definitely recommend it.
The design among all the Lemmy apps is essentially the same IMO. Far left you have your subscribed, bottom is the various sections… there’s not that much to it really.
I believe they did but were of the understanding he’d go back to OpenAI if the board changed their mind (like what happened). It was basically his golden parachute.
I don’t believe that’s true, some of the debris more than likely made it back to the ground over the ocean. There are weather radars that picked up the debris and they don’t scan super high up into the atmosphere.
Oh sorry I was coming from the perspective of running ads on your website.
Clicking on the ad is what triggers a charge (in terms of cost). Simply showing the ad is basically worthless. At least that’s how it was a while back when I was running a website and I had ads on it. The trick to getting bigger payouts was to make the ads look like part of your content and no so out of place. Twitter is doing just that and typically it is against the terms of use for ad networks, but since it’s their own network I guess that doesn’t really matter.
Fun fact about that symbol. It is called a throbber!
Also in his original rant, he said “death con” instead of defcon.
Plus this is a quickly evolving technology so limits and stuff are always changing.
That’s freaking awesome!
Ah sure enough, checked again the update was available! Thanks!!
Only reason I need Windows is for Flight Simulator. If it weren’t for that I’d be on Linux for sure.
