Yuuup. Progressives say they need to target centrists and independents… anyone undecided who could vote right wing for all intents and purposes is right wing.

I haven’t, that’s why I’m asking. I don’t have a problem with his politics, I agree with what I’ve seen, but I personally don’t like him because of what I’ve seen him do. Last night after the flurry of posts here, I went and went down the rabbit hole. I believe he did it and it gives me the ick. I also believe he’s being defended just because he’s a popular youtuber.

I’m done with this dog issue, and the ball of people defending things they shouldn’t.

Imagine that. Visiting for too long you’ll end up in a concentration camp. I wouldn’t visit here if I didn’t live here.

Why would I attack the message?

I consider the right wing in this context anyone who could vote right. I have a hard time labeling someone who is scratching their head over the options today “centrist” or “independent”

The right wing is the target audience! That’s the whole point. You can’t even get to the sales pitch if you can’t get your foot in their door.

Try posting this in a right wing sub and see what happens, and why. See if you can even get them to the message.

My goal this year is to vote in the midterms and to try and get at least two people I know to change their votes. I can’t mention this guy because I’ll just get shut down and nothing is gained.

We don’t need PERFECT but we do need a guy who hasn’t been accused with zapping his dog with no way for me to refute it, I can’t sell that to my two people before the midterms I’ll just get a door slammed on the sales pitch. He really needs to make this go away any way he can.

This is a progressive sub so I would guess everyone’s already on the same page WRT his message, but if the message is truely important then it should be our best foot being put forward to spread it, and I don’t see him being the best foot with this wedge issue lingering. it is what it is.

I don’t have a problem with what he’s saying here, but I don’t care to hear it from him and as you can see from the responses, it’s not a good look. People want to follow people politically that they think are good people.

All I know about this guy is that he allegedly zaps his dog.

I tried optimizing my morning routine by brushing/mouth washing while in the shower, it was a bad bad idea.
