One of the strengths of The Wire is that it’s not just a “cop show”, it’s way more than that.

Well, yeah, I get that, even if I don’t find those episodes bad myself, but I do think episode two, Bojack Hates the Troops, is a really good satirical episode that shouldn’t be missed.
DS9 - In the Pale Moonlight
Great acting and a very compelling story that’s not action driven, relying on its story, dialogue and fantastic acting. I mean, with top Garak and Sisko, what can go wrong?
Is there a possibility that it’s an issue with the desktop Firefox? Maybe it’s sending “garbage” to Sync due to profile corruption, etc. The passwords in your desktop Firefox work fine? Maybe try clearing its cache, if you haven’t already, or go nuclear by creating a new profile, then set it up as you want, and adding your passwords, then using that new profile to see if you can sync your passwords, etc. Sorry, but other than that drastic action, I’m out of ideas.
One other thing, do your browser history and bookmarks sync?
Ouch, that’s not good.
Have you tried force stopping and deleting the cache in Firefox for Android? Maybe you might need to clear its data and reinstall Firefox for Android again, which might force Sync to work. It’s possible your profile is corrupted. You might well lose some settings if Sync doesn’t repopulate, but it seems that you’ve already lost stuff due to Sync not working.
My desktop Firefox syncs my passwords to Firefox for Android quite well.
However, yeah, I do think that Firefox’s development over the years has gone a bit awry with the attempt to out-Chrome Chrome. It’s still the best browser out there, though.
Thanks for being both informative and open about this issue. Hope it works out.
Edit: The first two versions of this post didn’t seem to send: spinning post button. Maybe it’s not fixed or it’s struggling?
There are issues with both sides of the down button debate, but I’m more for it than against.
For a different take on the downvote button, yesterday I put a post up on a technical thread. I hadn’t really read properly what the discussion was about, so my post wasn’t really helpful even if well intentioned. I only noticed when I got a couple of downvotes. I looked again at my post, then at the OP, then realised my error. Eventually I deleted my post. So, in that instance, I found the downvote helpful to myself as well as for the rest of the thread: make sure I read the OP carefully. ;-)
Your test was successful.
There is Jerboa for Lemmy if you want to use an app.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that. I’ll probably notice it again once I hit reply for this post. ;-)
All my cars, bar one, have been manual transmission, as is my current one. To be honest, as I’m lazy, I do prefer auto, but it’s easier to buy a car with manual transmission here in the UK, as you have more options.
