That’s not the doctor’s job and that doesn’t fix the issue of the girl being pregnant
That’s not the doctor’s job and that doesn’t fix the issue of the girl being pregnant
Person 1: Here’s a thing about the economy
Person 2: My argument is that I am doing fine, so it is fine
Person 3: I would counter that by saying I am not doing fine, so by Person 2’s logic, it is not doing fine, this proving it is not a good argument
Adult conversations aren’t for everyone
I think you missed the point. Your logic calls for violence against Republicans.
Counter argument. I have also never made this much money. Neither has my boyfriend. We work at a hospital and make decent money. In Oct 2020 we were finally able to get our own apartment. We then moved back in with our old roommate last year. Because we were getting close to being homeless.
People were warning up about the disappearing middle class decades ago. I remember hearing about it in the 90s. And here we are. The wage gap between the top and the bottom has only widened.
Well then the Republicans better get real comfortable with having a lot of bad things happening to them real quick.
Yeah, there’s quite a few contradictions. Like they’re the ones encouraging everyone to start having kids. If people say they can’t afford it, conservatives tell them they will find a way. So if they can’t afford it and do, they’re bad patents. If they can’t afford it and don’t, they’re selfish.
Also we shouldn’t spend other people’s money on these people’s kids for lunches. But we can spend even more of that money putting them on the system? Like it would be cheaper to just give them a breakfast and lunch at school. So even looking at it from a libertarian tax is theft standpoint, it’s still spending money on the kids. But more.
I’ve seen a ton of republican voters say they’re against it when ever the subject comes up. The argument being that if they can’t afford kids, they shouldn’t have had kids. And if they can’t afford to feed them, it’s better to have the kids taken away.
Funnily enough my roommates dad actually went to Thailand for a bit after his divorce. Then him and his wife moved back here to the US.
It’s not self made if she worked her way up. First she had to get a job. Then she had to have someone see something in her to move her up. Then someone had to talk good about her to someone else. Then through the power of networking, she made it to where she is. A lot of success in the entertainment industry is either landing the role that will get you set for life(think Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter), or getting to know people who know people. And for a lot of people, that means other people are helping lift you up.
One of the best ways to come to the conclusion that you need to better yourself in some areas is to be open to the idea you might have a bias.
But acknowledging you might have a bias does not mean it’s there and you’re OK with it
And not liking someone who is part of a marginalized group does not always mean a bias either.
But we can focus on more than one problem. Like I’m a gay guy. Should I nor focus on the potential genocide me and my community will likely face if the Republicans can win?
Amazing coming those two
I wouldnt say stand in for socialism unless they’re talking about socilism. It sounds like they’re talking about capitalism with social benefits.
Yeah, at this point I think that’s the big thing I’m looking at. Getting rid of Trump. I know who ever is next will also still be the right wing authoritarian the party wants, but they won’t have the cult following. They’re not a religious leader. It’s at least something.
But either way, as a gay man, me and my boyfriend are thinking we might get out if the Republicans do win. He’s on his last semester of nursing school. I have an associates in accounting, which isn’t much, but I can hopefully still have some leverage with it.
I think it’s less that they’re voting for Trump more, and just that they’re voting for Biden less.
And if we don’t vote for him, everything falls apart because of us despite the fact that it’s been falling apart for decades.
I was actually wondering about that. Like as a white person, I don’t want to over step boundaries, but even I’m not surprised.
But this makes a whole lot more sense.
Oh shit. I didn’t know that. Might be able to get some other albums on there then. Thanks for the heads up.
The apps is definitely a part of it for me. One if my friends got YouTube Premium, and since he has 3 profiles he can attach to it, hrs letting me use it. It’s nice for the ad free videos on my TV. But it also comes with YouTube Music. It’s honestly kind of annoying at times.
Like yesterday I wanted to listen to an album by a band, and they only have like 2 of 3 albums. The one I wanted to listen to is the one they didn’t have. So I had to make a Playlist by finding videos of the songs.
And thats for a band that’s not super underground. I listen to a lot of grindcore and black metal, and a lot of that isn’t even on there.
And when you download things, you can only have it organized by albums. I can’t organize it by band and then have all the albums.
It’s also sometimes slow to load up stuff I’ve downloaded.
Over all its not the greatest experience. I’m currently looking at getting a mobile game device for my emulators so I can free up space on my phone, and then I’m thinking about just going back to having all the music on files on there and using an music player app. And like you said, I can have it organized how I want and customize things a bit more. Especially since I no longer have Comcast, so I can use Soulseek again.
