I’m actually optimistic on this one. It took them over a decade to get the right script to bring the actors back. I think there is hyper awareness to not screw this up so I imagine it’s at least ok. Look at the reboot of Ghostbusters (afterlife I think). That was a nice blend of nostalgia to keep us older heads happy and fun enough to engage the younger population. I am hopeful for the same with Beetlejuice.

In theory you are right, but in practice it’s damn near impossible to do this while fighting a world power. Only hope is support from allies.
