That last one makes me suspect this article might be an onion in disguise.
I used it for songs that weren’t on Tidal when I transferred playlists from Spotify. I found quite afew that I liked that Tidal didn’t have. Now that that’s gone I’ve moved to Deezer and am filling out my Plex server separately.
Honestly if you took it at face value i.e. Dooku was not Darth Tyranus and actually believed in the CIS cause, it wouldn’t seem like that bad an option.
For me, I use gift cards I receive as a test of the person that gave it. Someone I consider a collegue but not friend giving me a gift card to a place I like instantly makes me think they value me more than I thought. Person I consider a friend gives me a gift card instead of a gift, depending on the occasion, makes me think they like me, but can’t be bothered to put too much effort in, or are just doing because they feel obligated.
The only ones I’ve seen expire in the US are the VISA ones but those are basically debit cards.
I imagine the answer is that it’s still cheaper than renting in those areas.
It’s crazy how if I vote third party, or not at all I am both voting for Harris and for Trump, depending on who you ask.
My theory, and it is just a theory, is that Trump wins the electoral college vote, but Kamala wins the popular vote by a wide enough margin that by the next election, if there is one, they start to abolish the electoral college. Maybe then a third party candidate could actually make some changes.
I think the fact that Walz spoke out against the ec shows that even he thinks this is a likely outcome.
The eyes in that one image look cool.
She also comes back as her sister or something too doesn’t she?
I thought the idea there was that the Borg were already on the way and him doing that gave them a chance to prepare. Then they reinforced that idea with First Contact and Enterprise, because at that point they didn’t know how to write a series without the Borg.
On the flip side of that, I don’t like him as an audiobook narrator. Quite a few authors who grew up with TNG and write sci-fi now have him do narration, and he’s just kinda meh as a narrator.
Unit 8200 is also Israeli along with NSO group.
Had fun with the original Forza Horizon and Midnight Club L.A.
The category was “harmful or dangerous content” and reason was “violates ToS”
I’ve got one progam that I need for work that I cannot get to run on Linux. I’ve tried WINE on both Ubuntu and Zorin (and winlator for android). I have the installer exe file and try to launch with WINE but then nothing happens. Is that a program problem, WINE limitation, or something else? Is there a different program I should try to launch it?
Curious what they offered as compensation?
I might call the non-emergency line for things, like if my car was stolen or house broken into. I think the only time I’d call the emergency line is if I felt actively in danger.
Calling the police is a lot like firearm training, never call them on something you don’t intend to kill.
Are you referring to the sheriff, or the lady who called 911 for seemingly no reason. Honestly, if that lady was a local, I’d probably want to keep an eye on her cuz she probably calls in every little thing trying to get people in trouble. Had a neighbor like that.
