I was trying to say using my left thumb to swipe from left to right to upvote feels very natural and smooth, so it’s already perfect for lefties imo. Thank you so much for this app btw. I’ve only left a few app reviews in my 13 years of using iOS and I definitely left a 5-star review for yours with a blurb touting its ease of use, solid Apollo-esque UI, etc. Cheers.

I may use Reddit through the browser on occasion while googling (but without logging in). My Reddit activity has dropped 99%. The 1% is lurking the World News thread to follow Ukraine war updates while logged out.

I’ve since successfully upvoted some comments and made replies without it hanging with the spinning circle. Not sure what the issue was but it all seems to be running smoothly now. Thanks.

Free thinkers do tend to bash bigoted authoritarian-following thinkers. If mods removed all partisan comments in a political subreddit or instance community, there’d be a drop sharp in thread activity. I think it’s fine having a mix of objective anaylsis and partisan opinion. I felt that way even back in my Republican days.

Maybe. But then the instance they purchase is sealed off from the rest of the federation and a large portion of the users jump ship.

If a corporation aims to purchase an instance, all the other instances would let them know they will vote to defederate it as soon as the purchase is finalized. That ought to make them change course.
