My company still uses xp. I think we’ll finally be getting the windows 10 computers to replace them next week.
1.Discord link spam:
2.That particular spam wave was bots that would post thousands of images that all link to one newly created domain:
Images were sourced from the posts from a year ago. and they would try to grind karma in the freekarma4u subreddit, but always stopped way too early.
3.The latest memorable spam wave would crosspost copied images into a newly created subreddit:
Where they would then peddle their website:
170 posts come in. 100 are deleted (because bots), 70 remain.
Definitely. We need to advertise heavily here at the start so that we have enough of a sizable community to be stable. Be careful where you advertise. While it would be easy for us to advertise in loli circles and become another allthefallen, I would like to see this instance become hentai first, loli second, discussion 3rd, and squick last. There’s plenty other places on the internet for no holds barred discussion and while I can personally block the squick if I don’t like it, it’s hard to sell this instance to others if the first thing they are slapped in the face with is loli and bruises.
That’s the spirit!
So this means a “triple rainbow” is bad news.
Ya, it’s why this post is now on the top. This is why I’ve made a few discussion posts in https://burggit.moe/c/touhou_nsfw and why https://burggit.moe/c/whosefeet is probably going to take over the whole instance if it takes off.
count to 1000000 thread.
Right now, the lemmy algorithm “active” rewords controversial discussion heavily. Stuff enough comments in a post and it stays on the top for days.
Ho man, here’s the backend stats for the touhou nsfw subreddit. That’s over 100 spam posts a month removed to keep it clean:
I prefer windows neptune
Defederalization is not the end of the world. It does get a bit lonely and quiet, though.
Well, if you are up for it, I don’t mind pitching in a lot. I got a lot of disposable income and I owe you guys big for hosting touhou_nsfw.
Maybe anonymously email them and trick them to promise to put you in the list if you donate?
I mean, check terms and conditions. If we are paying to put our name up there and they don’t, might be a breach of service. We payed to get up there, they would have to hold their end of the transaction up. Probably not worth it. Funny to talk about, though.
How long would the advertisement stay down there? I might pitch in.
