This might be illegal in your area. Might be worth a non emergency call to the cops and let them know the owner always flashes the houses around at midnight not letting people sleep.
That’s my reasoning behind trusting banks with my money. If shit goes down to the point I can’t get my money out of a bank then it won’t have much value for long anyways and I have bigger issues.
That’s what they do with a lot more paintings that you would think. Not because they don’t want the plebs to look at them but because being exposed to the environment would cause irreparable damage to it. So they have experts make recreations and display those.
I cna vouch for fmovies and there’s also goku dot SX. Firefox plus adblock is the way to go. A lot of these sites also give you imdb ratings and a bunch of other things that regular streaming sites don’t.
Still are. You can buy them at your local super market.
It’s without your consent.
I tried helping my ex brother in law over the phone and he couldn’t grasp the concept of right clicking. I told him to just hold on and I would help him when I was back in town.
I know he knows how to right click but when given the instruction to right click on something he somehow forgets what a right click is.
I wonder if the increase of quality is due to more evs and vehicles being less environmentally friendly. With better efficiency and filters and regulations that help with that.
Got any recommendations? I’ve been with them for 3 phones starting on 2 and I’m thinking on replacing my 6. I was already looking at other companies but not sure who would be good.
Morning radio show I used to listen to talked all the time about the crap they bought off Instagram and tiktok ads. Like, ALL THE TIME. My ex and her family also bought a fair bit off of those sort of ads. Some type of people are just susceptible to it and others aren’t.
Besides a bunch of gaming and weeb ones I usually browsed trending and would gravitate toward the classics. Ask reddit, wtf, piracy, personal finance, lifeprotips, malefashionadvise, cool guides, the various explain like I’m 5 type subs, out of the loop. Etc. The trick is in the comments. Even in gaming subs people would have conversations and go on tangents in the comments with interesting facts or statements. I always make an effort to take a step forward whenever I read something I feel is interesting. For example, if someone mentions the Reynolds pamphlets in their comment about Alexander Hamilton. I’ll go ahead and Google what they are and give it a read. There’s always something you could learn even if it’s tangentially related. Even if it’s just the sentence structure or formating of a long comment, the way the camera or sound is done in a movie or show, someone’s mannerisms as they’re talking to you. It’s about wanting that knowledge.
I’m not a particularly smart person but my family and friends think I am just because I know a bit of everything. Im just a naturally curious person that likes to learn.
I feel it too. I suspect it’s because of the Sync app. I know a handful of reddit people who were waiting on it before trying lemmy. All we can do is try and foster a better place.
Yep, I remember seeing my ex brother in law seem upset for half a second at his baby gender reveil party when they popped a balloon and it was pink. The wife noticed and quickly unscrolled her blue parchment saying it was a lie and it was actually a boy. He wasn’t a bad dude but there was definitely machismo there.
Just out of curiosity, does siri not have a setting where you can have it get used to your voice? I remember cortana had a whole set up process that had you say a bunch of things. I don’t enunciate well but it was able to always pick up my regular voice for stuff.
Agreed, smaller solares powering smaller things is the way to go. Like carpark shade to power the lights nearby
Same here. My family and girlfriend always ask how I know so much stuff. I just tell them I read a lot. Which is true, little do they know I just read a lot of reddit and the sources people post. I also left when Boost went dark. Bittersweet.
Job hunting is the worst. I have to answer every single call for a while knowing full well it’s probably a telemarketer but not having any other choice.
The only way I can see what he mean making sense is that he’s talking about the people making more than low 6 figures. I can totally see someone making 300k a year not leaving because of money but because they wanna do something new.
That’s what happened to me with my previous job. Family and friends kept telling me that I look good and thinner but the scale was more or less the same. I do feel better and went down a size so it’s a win for me overall.
