These problems in this comic strip were not caused by capitalism, they were caused by finance.
Since the 70s, the boomer generation borrowed and borrowed and borrowed from their children’s future and sacrificed their unborn children and grandchildren to live their cheap low labour lifestyles. The pumped the markets with cheaper and cheaper fake dollars to fund wars, juice markets and build their dreams.
Now the bill is coming due and you are going to pay one way or another.
