And less safety.
And less safety.
At first I was like, “lol, what kind of dumpster fire is this going to be?”, and then I started listening to it and holy shit that’s awesome. I’m going to have to go back and read the captions so I can see what the fuck the song is about (my luck it’s some pro-nazi bullshit) but music wise it is fucking fire, hell even the video is decent.
Actually, it looks like it’s anti-political corruption. That’s fucking awesome. And the lyrics are fucking amazing. There’s some serious poetry, humor, and rage rolled up this thing.
That is not what they’re saying. They are saying that there’s only one reason anyone would need the name and address of trans children and that is to terrorize them. Even if they say they have a different reason (history shows that they don’t) the one only effect that they could and would have is terror.
It’s more like the difference between not being able to avoid being in a boxing match vs getting mugged by a gang of thugs looking to prove how tough they are. Either way you’re getting punched in the face, but there is a difference in the level of harm that they intend to inflict.
So, haven’t seen pictures of all the billionaires rockets yet huh?
Not just the layers, but a full history of every alteration they made from the first pixel to the last.
Comrade, you see back in old days, a strong Soviet man might have to fall out of window 30 or 40 times before finally succumbing to injuries. Minor improvements in window falling technology improved this over time. Improvements like feeding political enemies high calorie foods thus making them heavier. Also promotions worked for many. By first promoting the unfortunate soul, you could insure that they lived on a higher floor or had a house with a 3rd story. However, all of these solutions took much time. It wasn’t until 1 brilliant pioneer realized that if the unfortunate accident victim first broke neck before falling out of window, then even the sturdiest of men could fall out of even basement window just once.
Maybe she never wears underpants so it felt normal?
It is always the stuff that they mumble and handwave that you have to watch out for. The Moderation part is just to get everyone all talking about that. The scary part is the “other stuff”. They probably want access to everyone’s data so they can train their AI on it.
Or maybe less because you will buy in bulk.
One of our 2 choices for president has committed treason multiple times, been impeached twice, claims he wants to be a dictator, and has been found guilty of 34 cases of fraud related to an election cover up, and he is still going to be nominated as the candidate for the party that styles itself as the “law and order” party.
I’m not really sure what kind of shape you think we are in.
Drunk posting is sad.
All this effort into trying to convince us not to vote, or throw our vote away. Dozens of threads, and hundreds of posts every day. And this is just on Lemmy… Lemmy has less total users than some subs on that shitty site we all used to use.
If nothing else tells you how much your vote matters this vote, then that insane effort should make it clear.
His dad left him just a few billion dollars and through his cunning and intellect he managed to turn that into several hundred million dollars.
So… truck driver or IT?
you don’t need to use it at the first place
So we should all live alone in the woods in shacks we built for ourselves, wearing the pelts of random animals we caught and ate?
Just because I have the skills to live like a savage doesn’t mean I want to. Hell, even the idea of glamping sounds awful to me.
No thanks, I will use modern technology to ease my life just as much as I can.
Good to know. Thanks.
The completely useless error messages kill me. And the commands that don’t do what they say… WTF is the point in “clean” and “force” if they don’t clean or force? And then there’s the inconsistency in command arguments. With one you have to use force, even though it doesn’t actually force, and the other you have to use “hard”. Hard? I mean I guess hard makes sense once you realize that force doesn’t actually mean force. Now I’m just waiting to run across the switch “–seriouslyguysimeanitthistime”.
OMG, I can’t up vote this thread enough… git is such a purposefully exclusionary step in software development that I can’t believe it is the preferred solution. It is very powerful, but it is painfully obvious that no one has ever gone back and said, “but what if anyone else who wants to use this is not a Linux cli guru and already has an expert understanding of git commands?”. Why is it that learning to check in code is significantly harder than learning the actual IDEs that the devel uses to develop the code?
Cab companies have stricter safety regulations and background checks for their drivers.
