It’s also very expensive compared to other finish options like plating or different types of paint. I would be surprised if price wasn’t also a factor.

My house was one of the ones hit in this storm. Baseball sized hail was blowing in sideways and broke a window. We lost a huge limb from our oak in the front yard. I got a roof inspection yesterday and it’s shot, it needs replacement. This was an expensive storm for me, but it could’ve been much worse. One of my coworkers said her neighbor’s tree fell on her house.
Maybe twelvend or twelv-econd or twelfond? My brain hurts.
Are the prices coming down at all?
I’ve been thinking about a Balatro community for a few weeks now, but life has been too crazy for me to create it. I’m really excited about this! If you’re looking for mods, please let me know. I’d be interested in helping out!
Nice! The alternating notches are a nice touch.
Here is the entire article (not kidding):
"A meningitis outbreak has killed 20 students in northern Nigeria, local media reported Wednesday (Feb. 28).
The death toll which remains provisional was announced by the Yobe state Education commissioner.
The outbreak has been recorded in some secondary schools in the state.
Over a hundred cases have allegedly been reported with three patients said to still be in an intensive care unit responding to treatment.
Meningitis is an infection which causes an acute inflammation of the outer layers of the brain and spinal cord. It can be life-threatening unless diagnosed and treated early.
Transmission is through direct person-to-person contact, including droplets from the nose and throat of infected people.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention shared Wednesday (Feb. 28) on its X account (formerly twitter) a meningitis vigilance map.
Indeed, weather conditions can favour prevalence of meningitis.
Most of cases in the country are reported across states in the northern region.
According to the WHO, the west African nation reported 124 deaths from meningitis between 1 October 2022 and 16 April 2023."
It doesn’t even say which version it is, viral or bacterial.
Seeing Tron: Legacy in 3D in theaters is one of my favorite theater memories. Regardless of how the story turns out, I’ll probably see this for the visuals alone.
I hope Bouldy is in the cubicle next to him.
It’s because it’s safer from an investor perspective. A reboot of a successful movie and continuations in established series have more predictable revenue than an original story, which is why originals have become more rare. It all comes down to money.
even if I just slightly feel like one dislikes me a little
This line stuck out to me because of what I’m currently working through. I have no idea if we share this issue, so please take this with a grain of salt. Is it possible you struggle with people pleasing? If you perceive yourself to only have value when others are pleased with you, someone being displeased with you hits like a freight train. When someone gets mad at me on the road, even if it’s not my fault, I can’t stop thinking about it for MONTHS. It made me cry a lot as a boy. I don’t think this accounts for all of what you’re talking about, but it could be a piece of it.
It’s so funny to me that we have to circumvent the site’s paywall in order to read an article about pirating.
That illustration with the hook through the film reel is so clever, I love it.
I work in insurance and it’s wild how many insurance carriers have pulled out of Florida and California due to natural disasters. The market is vastly shifting to smaller carriers in these regions.
They finally have the protection they need when they fall out of trees.
Happy birthday, you earless abomination!

I don’t see the big deal here. Mozilla relies on advertising for its revenue. They’re incorporating a new method which prioritizes user privacy first and foremost, even preventing the advertisers from accessing user information. Isn’t this an improvement for both Mozilla and their users?
