There’s nothing wrong with looking things up, and it teaches future you what to do/how things work.
That said, troubleshooting is a skill that can be applied to anything. It’s mostly just eliminating variables and patience sometimes, but even professionals still look stuff up regularly. All that reading and research helps you build a foundation to help inform your troubleshooting though.
Also, +1 for man! If you need to know more about a command in the terminal, just type “man” (short for manual) then whatever the command is and you’ll be presented with documentation regarding the command!

Most of the better games are indie games these days anyways. The AAA titles are the same old shit for a higher price, I’m already not playing them so I don’t need bleeding edge graphics to run the good new games anyhow.

Not a fucking chance, Jeff.

We, I mean, I was just going to Wall Street to do a business, ok?

Yeah, but the virtual keyboard and trackpad works well enough to get around that without actually plugging in peripherals (at least for what I’ve played so far).

First of all, a trench coat is a type of rain jacket, and second of all, I did. This was in highschool, so I wasn’t exactly a little kid, but the type of outwear I do or don’t wear is nobody’s goddamned business but mine. Going after a kid because you don’t like their coat is fucking stupid.

Seems obvious, though there are already a ton of verified games just for the Steam Deck already (even most of the ones that aren’t seem to run fine from what I’ve tried so far).

What are the best ones to use these days? I’m tired of shitty proprietary firmware with bad security.

I got in trouble for wearing a trenchcoat while it was raining shortly after the whole columbine thing. There are some absolute morons working in schools.
It’s a rain coat, asshole.
It’s raining.
Do the fucking math!

It depends on where you publish it: In the United States, the truth is a complete defense to libel suits, so you wouldn’t get in any trouble. This, of course, assumes that you can prove the contents of the book and have not signed any NDAs that would prohibit such a book.

Something like a surgical mask can help a bit even if other unmasked sick people are around (though it’s pretty minimal, less than 10% IIRC), but nowhere near as much as a proper respirator. It’s something like 25%-40% more effective vs. without one, and it goes up from there to 90%+ if everyone is wearing one and they are properly fitted. Some respirators don’t protect anyone from a sick wearer (like painter’s masks with cartridges and an unfiltered exhaust) but others do (like N95s/FFP2s). For the purpose of this article, “respirator” refers to stuff like n95s though.

I was thinking indie games becoming more popular, people defaulting to refurbs/repairs over new stuff, and developers being forced to optimize their software, games, and OSes, buuuuut, yeah that’s a distinct possibility too.

Be the change you want to see.

What? No Mbin?

What an ignorant question.

Yeah, there’s a lot of that going around.

They’re inevitable because companies already know they’re going to do everything they can to fuck us over for as much profit as they think is possible. We’ll see how this all plays out though.
