Some public places like libraries here in Denmark use Linux on their computers, but I don’t know to what extent.

I bought a tuxedo laptop about 2 years ago. I’ve only had one issue with it, where it would go to 100% fan speed for about 2 seconds after turning it on. Other than that I’m really happy with it ☺️
- I use my Desktop PC for almost everything when I’m home.
- Laptop for school or on the go productivity.
- Steam deck for playing when travelling, or as a media player when in bed.
- And phone for everything else.
I’m a 22 year old software engineering student from Denmark. I used reddit a little before Lemmy but haven’t been there since.
We have a Signal group chat, works really well for all kinds of things. Like “Dinner is ready” or “is anybody home?”

Yeah Filmstriben is really good! They also have some really good lesser known movies that are really difficult to find anywhere else.
