Came here super late to ask: how? I played it and after discovering most of the things in game I couldn’t continue without guides (not good with puzzle games). I also don’t get attached to characters that can’t move with a few lines of dialog (no I’m not a psychopath, OneShot’s endings always give me mixed emotions for a few days). I’m not looking to argue I just want an answer
When I was playing Rain World a few months ago I wasn’t expecting for it to become one of my all time favorites. Just moments ago I also expected downpour to be Rain World’s only DLC. Video Cult never fails to subvert my expectations.
Looks beautiful. Hopefully it lives up to hyper light drfter
A delayed game/dlc is always better than crunch time (sacrificing your humanity and working 18h a day)
I’m relived to hear that you actually got the help you deserved because I was serious. I know how awful it feels to not be in control of yourself or your motivations and I don’t want anyone to experience it
I’m very glad that you’re liking it so far. The tips you see at the bottom left of the world loading screens are actually very helpful so don’t miss them
I’m currently playing a modpack called Divine Journey 2 which I started back in the middle of October. 280 hours in and still in chapter 11 of the quest book (30 chapters in total) and it’s still addictive and enjoyable.
In case someone would like to know: I took this screenshot from the leaf blower revolution’s steam page
I don’t understand how there are so many youtube videos talking about how “gaming is dead” when we had so many big hits like this just this year alone
Yeah growing up from playing bad games to watching bad TV shows. It’s evolving, just backwards. (The type of media you entertain yourself with has nothing to do with age)
I don’t understand how anyone can say a statement as heartless as “humans are cancer”, but I shouldn’t be surprised because it’s within our nature to oversimplify, categorize, and put good and evil label on things. But the truth is that you can’t put a label on humans because we are too diverse for that. For as cruel and heartless humans can be, we can also be kind and forgiving. There are millions who dedicated their lives in helping others, and millions of forest rangers defending what you label as good. You know that life has existed on earth for 3 billion years, so what good did it do exactly? Creatures born and died one after the other and what good did they ever do? Also life wasn’t always stable on earth, there where 5 mass extincttions, and 5 ice ages long before we industrialized. It’s been a few hundred years at most since we’ve been a “cancer” to earth. If humans where gone things will continue as normal, stars shine until they fade without anyone to gaze at their beauty. Universe will turn dark without anything happening. I don’t think things will stay like this. Humans where hunter gatherers for ~288000 years but we grew out of it and learned to do better. I think the same will be true for war and injustice. We will grow out of these childish actions one day.
Humans won’t go extinct easily, for how many things we lived through and how many conditions we coped with, I don’t think nither climate change nor a third world war is enough for our extinction. LEMMiNO has an amazing video on this I recommend checking it out to see what I mean. Also u ok bro?

Yeah I also get mad at this sometimes, but I always try to remind myself that even if a bad, influential person dies, another bad person takes their thrown by every dirty trick imaginable. This problem must be fixed from it’s roots, which is to be a good person and raise children who grow to be good and honorable people. Everyday not only think about yourself but also about others beyond your family and friends. Help anyone your hand reaches to and always prefer other’s benefit from yourself. I know not everyone can be like this but even if 60% of people where, the world would have been a much better place.
I would like to know how did they came to the conclusion that the world problems is caused by nature and not other selfish people. Politicians who didn’t allow me to my country’s university because of my religious beliefs made this choice not because “the nature” forced them, or they somehow lacked free will. They may blame our flawed natures like greed but I would argue that we can choose not to listen to our emotions and desires. I can shallow my anger, and silence my pride which makes me an entity separate from it’s emotions. People can also change their mind if they choose, both in a positive and negative way.
