What a bizarre claim to make. Does he actually think that’s how honest people start their day?

LMAO who knew Garak was so ripped
That would be amazing
That would have been preferable to a holodeck simulation. Ugh, what a weak way to go out, especially considering how great the rest of that last season was. Berman and Braga should’ve let Manny Coto (the showrunner, whom they hired to run the show, FFS) write and direct the finale, too bad ego had to get in the way.
Yeah, it’s a callback to the Enterprise finale. I figure the Lower Decks finale couldn’t be any worse, right? Pleasebegoodpleasebegood
Bravo on the dialogue!
Hahahaha thank you for this. A good friend of mine plays the rare medic/dps role in Star Trek Online, I’m gonna send this to him
I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it as an insult. I wanted to stress that the utility aspect of being able to heal is a major draw. If you’re starting out, you don’t really know what’s waiting for you, and that minor heal looks like a smart choice.
Full disclosure: the first character I created for any RPG ever was a Ranger. I was playing the NES port of Ultima III, didn’t want to get my ass handed to me, and the minor heal abilities looked appealing. That was…jeez, in the late 80s I think?
I don’t think they need a group, lol
Oh I know, I’m just shitposting about the so-called “noob role”.
I think most people tend to start out with Ranger… who wouldn’t want to be able to do damage and also do some casting too?
@[email protected] oof, that’s rough. Some of us do have to learn the hard way, for a number of reasons. Good for your friend, it’s no small feat.
@ummthatguy I also wish I could. Been on the wagon for a long time. One becomes ten, and – like ADHD – it’s not necessarily a matter of willpower. Drinking is a destructive variable for me, and I can’t have that in my life.
But thank you, I do appreciate the suggestion. It likely wouldn’t hurt if my brain were wired a little differently. I’m sure there’s a Kelly in a parallel universe who is able to take your advice and is enjoying a nice Glenfiddich on the rocks.
@verity_kindle, I feel your pain. Even the most trivial and mundane tasks become overwhelming/impossible, even for seemingly easy things like self care. It is so hard to even function as a human being, and it really sucks.
@[email protected] I’ve been working in the bash shell since 1993 and did not know sudo !!
was a thing. Good lord, I no longer have to press up, press crtl-left a bunch of times, then type sudo enter space anymore. And I can give it an easy-to-remember alias like ‘resu’ or ‘redo’! Ahahaha, this changes everything! Thank you!!
on behalf of shawties everywhere, thank you! 👍
Oh I remember that one now, it was a trippy episode. Fantastic show, I need to watch it again.
Yeah, and there are stairs, so it’s definitely from what, somewhere in the last two seasons?
Ahahaha omg dude that’s hilarious
That’s the thing about being a parent, you do what’s necessary for your kids, even without thinking sometimes. I’m talking out of my ass, I don’t have kids. Yep, the “weight limit” thing is a thing, but what throws me off lately is the weight distribution thing and all the fun that comes with that. I’m carrying the 38 lb box of cat litter by the strap handle thing with one hand to the car (because in spite of everything that has happened in my life and everything I learned about myself lately, I still feel the need to look tough for some dumb reason) and I set it down next to the trunk, and not only am I wiped out, but my fingers really hurt and are sore for the next half hour. What the fuck is this, arthritis?
Ahahahahaha “Mike”
