IIRC, the biggest problem in a vacuum is that your lungs work in reverse, expelling oxygen from your bloodstream into the void, so you have about 15 seconds of consciousness with which to panic before you black out.
I just binged The Expanse… Yeah, when the space pirates make you walk the airlock, it’s slightly less lethal than being instagibbed by implosion, but certainly far from fun.

I agree, switchover isn’t going to be instantaneous, but when trolls & fascists start taking over and the collective IQ there drops 30 points, the exodus will accelerate. People won’t go to Reddit for discussions when the threads there assume Youtube quality, and without that, it’s just another doomscrolling app.
I don’t know if that kind of temperature lasts more than microseconds, so that might not be enough time for much combustion to happen.
In any case, the forces, IIRC, from a 300 atm pressure differential would mash the people to goo in the blink of an eye. Like being inside an exploding bomb. Except exploding in. They’re fish food.
