Not everyone has the resources or ability to just pack up and move to another country. First off, you need to get permission from the country in question to live there and both of America’s neighbors aren’t very fond of you guys right now. Second, you need a way to support yourself while living there. that could mean getting new qualifications and training that is recognized in that country which can take a while. Third, It means isolating yourself from your family, friends and support network and you have to try rebuilding all of that from scratch. Saying “Just move to another country, Bro!” is kind of insulting to those who don’t have the means to do that.

God, I’m so glad I live in Australia. I suffered an A.V. malformation in my brain that burst one day. I was flown to a major hospital in the city (about 5 hrs away from where I live by car) for emergency neurosurgery. I woke up 2 weeks later with a bunch of tubes coming out of me and no idea where I was or how I got there. After they took the tubes out of me about a month later and got me out of the hospital bed, I found out I had to learn to walk again. I was released for out-patient care about a month and a half after that, the whole thing cost me exactly $0.

America really screwed it’s own people, huh?

Are they marked on a map? Are they recognized by any other nation (not including by their own)?

If not, then they aren’t a nation.

Edit: Just to be clear, Canadian citizens DO have the right to challenge their government. American citizens, however, Don’t get a say in the matter. This is between Canada and IT’S citizens, not the citizens of another, entirely separate country.
