Mine were $25 new so yeah, they are cheap if you actually look. They are also really durable.

I highly recommend Mindustry, and HedgeWars (Worms clone but with hedgehogs). And honestly Super Tux cart is pretty solid, even if bits of it feel dated.

An oven is one of the few things I can actually see having an app for being useful. Preheating the oven remotely and getting notified when it is ready sounds really useful.
