I’d take those instead of more awful people. And it can also be the first step for someone to achieve class consciousness.

I’ve seen more people from lower income trying out gambling to get out of poverty (or in hopes to have something to eat for the week). So it kinda makes sense in this situation, maybe?
I like to think of “parents and tech” as “kids and toys”. They don’t understand it, they just want to use it and enjoy it. And they certainly don’t care what problematic ethics are involved. So just like with kids, we have to be more careful and caring. And we definitely don’t want to overwhelm them with too much information.
Is uBlock Origin still the king? Been using it since it came out and I genuinely don’t understand the ads problem. Sponsorblock is also a huge help.
That’s where “kinda” is about, to be honest. Especially it’s hard to tell if it even works (if the point is really to help people). I agree, freedom of movement and participation in society must not be gated in any way.
