I’ll say what I said on another thread about this: They’re copying the “eccentric gajillion-dollar empire heiress” look. Getting excessive amounts of plastic surgery to show off their “fuck you money” is a time-old tradition.

Probably also skewed by the fact that ultra processed foods are by default more calorie dense, therefore most of a day’s calories might come from that.

Reddit notoriously suppresses important news about what happens under this administration. But I woke up this morning and saw lot of posts about the LAPD beating that one guy while trampling him with a horse and also the Australian reporter being shot. Both with thousands of upvotes and comments. Perhaps you have the feed set to new posts?

Not sure if this exactly fits the assignment, but most people think Silent Hill (first one) was a garbage movie that made no sense. And it was if you never played the games. If you did play the games though, you can see the movie is incredibly faithful to the atmosphere. They used a lot of the OST by Akira Yamaoka too, which is an amazing soundtrack. I really liked the acting as well (except for the little kid, but it’s rare to find convincing child actors anyway). Monster design was great. I think they combined cg and practical effects so it made some things a lot more convincing.
