At least a reboot would be better than another revival.
Dementia Joe strike again! Homie prolly forgot that Roe V. Wade got overturned and was referencing Trump’s opposition to it.
I’m interested in seeing how this went. It must’ve been awkward.
I didn’t even know this wiki existed. Very cool.
The appearance was pretty bad. We can from one of the strongest SNL episodes in a long time in the week before to this…
Although I gotta give it to him, his Trump impression was pretty good.
This is actually the most logical successor to cable. The scripted content is on demand and the sports is live. The only thing missing is news.
I’m not sure why they’re not doing a sequel or prequel series in the same vein of GoT instead.
To be fair, Netflix just released a live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which ended 16 years ago, as well as One Piece, which is still ongoing.
I’m not sure. He might be learning the wrong lessons from the Hogwarts Legacy situation, and assuming that there are more Harry Potter fans who like Rowling than who hate her. He might be right, but it takes considerably less commitment to buy a game than to watch a season of streaming television. How many antiwoke fans are really going to watch a whole season of a Harry Potter show just to spite some terminally online Twitter users?
Keeping her involved somewhat isn’t a terrible choice if you want to stay true to the source material, but it doesn’t make much sense to speak so publicly about the partnership if your end-goal is to have as many viewers as possible.
That said, WBD is now profitable (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/warner-bros-discovery-streaming-profit-2023-q4-earnings-report-1235832538/) so maybe they have some breathing room to eat a loss on this project.
Even though I’m a fan of both shows 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star have both been going on for far too long, them being forced to keep the teams together and not have any major character deaths, job changes, or major new additions really hampers how much they can do with the characters.
Terra Nova, Whiskey Cavalier, The Premise, and Y: The Last Man all ended too soon as well.
Haha I am rooting for season 2 to be good tho
Antitrust is a weird route.
Wouldn’t be shocked if ESPN, Fox and Warner Bro. decide to just buy Fubo though, they could probably do that.
Only if you get those responsibilities by staying in the same company rather than getting hired in the same role by another one
