3·1 year agoPopping in to suggest Ship of Fools and Cult of the Lamb
Ship of Fools was shorter than I’d like but lots of fun. Currently playing through Cult of the Lamb co-op and and we’ve been having a blast
I’m here for Voyager for the same reasons. I like the characters, the setting is great to explore situations and themes away from the federations protection and influence. I also like ‘found family’ themes, the crew being one big family that depends on, uplifts and supports one another is just nice
She said that but she was wrong lol Off the top of my head both the Terminator and Alien series had lead female action hero’s that predate the Hunger Games
Also I don’t mean to be pedantic, I can’t tell if this is a stealth /s discussion or not
It looks like the train spun out and slid backwards off the tracks on the right

3·2 years agoI liked the first season of Miracle Workers and wish they would have continued with that concept. I like the idea of anthologies but what the heck was this lol I almost stopped watching it. The title doesn’t make sense anymore I don’t understand why they would name it Miracle Workers if this was always the plan?
The later seasons are fine if anyone’s thinking of picking this up. It’ll just feel like less of a betrayal if you go in knowing it’s an anthology with completely different settings and characters and not a single concept series

Star Trek Social Club@startrek.website•How realistic is Star Trek’s Tamarian language? - Darmok and JaladEnglish
1·2 years agoI haven’t seen The Magicians, but I remember something similar happening in one of the Austin Powers movies that make me think of this episode. Austin was talking to his dad in I think English slang. Without the subtitles if you are not culturally familiar with what they were saying it just sounded like nonsense
