Hell, the website I get knitting patterns from has the same situation. The top 1% of designers make all the dough. But it’s great to have a platform that anybody can submit patterns to. The top designers pay the bills and they keep people coming back.

You used to be able to open an heic in the native windows 11 photo viewer and go to “save as” and resave it as a jpg, but they removed it. So I guess its deliberate.

I had no idea about 8marketplace. Thanks for sharing! Last time I booted up a Lumia, basically everything was inaccessible because of the dead store. I was a big fan of windows phone back in the day. I would love to go back to WP7 or 8 as a main phone if possible.
