1·1 hour agoMaybe it’s to keep the existing assets from cratering in value. Storage and RAM prices have gone up in value, if all those assets returned to their sane values then many more loans would be upside down.

Recently went to a community organized meeting where we coordinated ICE watch actions, how to pressure our school board, care packages for those they release, etc. They also asked us to vote and to talk to our families about voting.
Isn’t that the point? That we shouldn’t wait for the DNC to act but take matters into our own hands? That’s not moping, it’s saying no one is coming to save us so we don’t need permission to act.

Forcing people purchase health insurance turned out to be rather unpopular and helped Trump get elected. And the insurance companies ended up buying the entire vertical chain so the caps put on their overhead ended up being toothless.
