The set of Democrats who think he should reconsider his decision to stay in the race has grown to include aides, operatives and officials tasked with guiding his campaign to victory.
Not to mention, it’d be supremely out of character for him, not to mention the people around him, for that to ever happen.
Trump? Yeah, he’d do that in a heartbeat. But if Biden were forced out, I don’t see anything like that happening. I’m no great fan of the guy, but he’s not that detached from reality.

Trump basically made the same threat back when he was an “undesired” candidate. They couldn’t get rid of him, because he’d just trash the party.
