He waited so long to kick him… Wolfman could’ve sliced both of them up within that first second.

        Great clip though.

A bit of career suicide for visibility on government corruption?

Sure he’s a tool, but this will likely make a lot of people feel a little uncomfortable.

At least for twenty seconds or so.

How interesting that a controversial company was called “OceanGate.” Considering media’s tendency to give almost every scandal a nickname ending in -gate, that name was practically foreshadowing.

Well, it worked out for all of us. Coastguard did not spend any money on him, he did not have to give a corrupt politician any money, and we got some headlines from it. I’m for this storyline. 10/10 more please.

I hate how taxpayer money goes to rescuing rich people getting themselves in stupid situations

Had a friend die at sea after ship sank. Search and rescue lasted for about a night before they gave. The search for these people went for a week for a much more hopeless situation.

Peter Thiel has a reputation for being evil but smart. This guy didn’t seem so smart, just cocky and ambitious.

He built a homebuilt aircraft and that wasn’t the thing that killed him, so he wasn’t dumb by any stretch, but “smart enough to be dangerous” seems like a phrase coined just for him.
