Misdirected? No, the respite was good for the country overall. Could it have been better? Of course, but you’ve got to work with what you’ve got. Hopefully it’s not immediately burned to the ground.
Was it? It helped things a bit in the short term, but it also gave them 4 years to come up with a new game plan. Project 2025 is very concerning
Conversely, if we were just getting out of 4 more years of Trump things would be worse, but we might’ve had the oomph to push for important issues for once
Honestly don’t believe we’d be getting out of a trump term if he’d have won a 2nd back to back. The attempted insurrection proves how little that group cares for law or order. I’m hoping that there will be more resistance to his vitriol this go around. But if not sadly it’s my neices & nephews problems really, my time is just spent hoping there’s a world left for them.
