    This actually may end up being a good thing as it’ll prevent the US for dictating policy decisions for the rest of the world.

          The move means the U.S. will leave the United Nations health agency in 12 months’ time and stop all financial contributions to its work. The United States is by far the WHO’s biggest financial backer, contributing around 18% of its overall funding. WHO’s most recent two-year budget, for 2024-2025, was $6.8 billion.

          Edit: by the way, Tesla is gonna give Elon $58 billion a year.

            18% is easily able to be made up by the remaining members, China will likely make up most of that just as a way to step more into the role of hegemon after the us fully exits it’s role.
