You should, if at all possible, live with your parents until you can afford to buy a place. Don’t feed the landlords. The whole basement dwelling looser trope was perpetuated to drain money from the working class.

I’m 30 and still can’t afford no condo nor house. Hell, the measly options I have to even getting an apartment in my area are slim because of how high housing is here. They don’t have good parking, appliances crap out, poor neighborhoods, and elevators don’t work half the time. Wtf am I doing man
