Nazi paraphernalia was also found inside the home, including writing on a wall that says “Kapitulieren nein,” which is German for “No surrender.”

Do all Nazis think suicide is some kind of loophole/technicality? Like maybe it’s not really “surrender” if you forfeit?

They’re just rightfully following in the footsteps of their ex leader who only ever did one painting properly.

Not quite, “Kapituliere nicht” would be the correct imperative form, but sounds a bit weak. “Kapitulieren? Nein!” would work, but not without the question mark. No surrender would be “keine Kapitulation”.

It’s because they are stupid and fear going out in a blaze of maddened glory. When I think no surrender it’s going down with the intent of taking every last bastard possible, not bitching out and putting a bullet through one’s own brain. Though I guess it’s good they don’t generally do that since they’d definitely shoot up a pre-school or something rather than going toe to toe against the cops.
