The other one’s a sad story. Got into an affair with a high ranking member of another party. She ended up resigning from her party and losing the next election. He resigned his Ministry but was reappointed a couple of months and stayed there until he resigned from Parliament 4 years later. Oh, and he had a history of admitted workplace harassment/low-key sexual assault (think “snapped the bra strap” and inappropriate comments) prior to this, as well as inappropriate use of Ministerial entitlements. No prizes for guessing which political party he was from (or for the non-Australians, which part of the political spectrum his party represents).
