      The people trying to remilitarize Japan haven’t been taught (or learned nothing from) why Japan doesn’t have a military anymore.

      PM Takaichi is aligned with Trump and idolizes Margret Thatcher. The Japanese speaking out against her and her policies understand why that’s a bad thing.

        Both solid points honestly, it’s complicated. What I do believe is that this new Japanese PM can be relied upon to be up to no good. Even if less dependence on the US is a wise course of action, I don’t trust her with that agenda. Expect corruption.
