Adding the option is a change you’re asking to make to FromSoft’s pizza. That’s the point. It’s THEIR pizza. They don’t make a pizza with difficulty sliders. Aggro Crab and Spiders make difficulty slider pizza.
You know there’s ways to add difficulty settings that aren’t Bethesda sliders, right?
