    Uh, gonna need a source on “skipping and lying” because those aren’t things that just get hand waved by regulating bodies.

        Damn, even saying ‘yep, vaccines work’ gets you an anti-vax label in 2026. Crazy times.

          This wasn’t “vaccines work” this was vaccine misinformation prettied up with “vaccines work”.

          The idea that a vaccine can be hand waved through the checks and such out in place to ensure safety standards are met, by simply lying about the numbers, is pure fiction and meant to spread the idea that vaccines are a Wild West.

            You can disagree with what I said, but I quite literally took an entire paragraph to make sure it’s clear that I’m not denying vaccines work, or that they work quite well.

          Western internet discourse lately is often insane like this. Even in /science/ most people would just immediately go into personal attacks instead of trying to destroy their opponent with numbers and references to quality research.
