To me it’s simply that you were promised to pay for a complete game. They didn’t tell you to pay for 3 modes for 2 years, and then the rest for a few more years, and then they shut down the servers.
This is what we call false advertising and a breach of contract. You can’t bury those things - they have to be apparent at purchase.
We wouldn’t do this to an indie studio, because indie studios don’t decide to remove features randomly 2y in. If they did, hell yes I would criticize them.
