Some do. That’s an idiotic take of why a taxi over an Uber. You don’t think that if Uber didn’t exist that cabs wouldn’t add cameras? Just Google the number of companies that have already added cameras to them.
I’m pretty sure the Uber and Lyft drivers that are doing as they’re doing it voluntarily. It’s not like they’re being forced to do this. Most of them already have dash cams and vehicle cams anyways.
Yellow cab doesn’t have dash cam last time I was in one in MYC a couple years ago.
