Kinda like this: They sell a “greenhouse” at Home Depot that’s basically a wire shelf with plastic thrown over it. Or you can get a planter like this that sits on the patio or one that hangs on your fence

You can have a garden on a small patio. Get wire shelves and put planters on them. Kinda like this:
