That way, they avoid voting for things like setting schedules and super minor nonsense. It takes only a single Senator to force votes on everything to grind the Senate to a halt.

I generally agree with that. That’s a good step they should take. Assuming you’re American, you should contact your Senator so they know their constituents want that.
