I’m gonna be real, the majority of the US will never give up eating meat. It’s engrained in the culture and the way people live every day. It would be like asking people to give up couches and only ever use chairs.
Red meat industry is several times worse for the environment, it’s the most pollution. But really you have the food waste as the lowest hanging branch, and newer techniques like cold pasteurization with radiation can be done on raw meat and produce without heating it. Reducing food waste by 10 to 20 percent is entirely doable.
You know, the last couple of years has had me setting up solar power, buying an EV, and eating almost no animal products except for eggs from my spoiled chickens.
I think trimp is a leftist plant being used to trick everyone into being more environmentally friendly. At least thats what I like to point out to conservatives.
Some people would apparently be dragged in front of a firing squad than learn to like tofu, seitan, beans and other nutritious sources of plant-based protein.
As a vegan, I’m finding I enjoy food way more than I did as a carnist. It’s an adventure.
And like beef production, the environmental impacts of the dairy industry are significant, although not quite as bad as beef. But totally unnecessary for human beings to consume.
Can’t be worse than not eating meat apparently

Why not cheese?
Cows are forcibly brought into this world to suffer as much for dairy farming as they are for meat production.

I make my own cheese, using my own milk. Where is your vegan God now?
How much milk do your tits produce that you can regularly make cheese from it?
Tits?
Just what organ do you produce milk with exactly?
The same one everyone else does?

What animals are you talking about? I consent to using my own milk to produce cheese.
You know what? I missed that you’re making cheese from your own breast milk.
I read that as, “I make my own cheese (from cows milk).”
Whether you were trolling or not carry on! My brain didn’t register it because it’s not a sentence I often see.
Check mate, atheist 💃
