I am from Kentucky and just saw this, thought it would be worth sharing on Lemmy. Feel free to crosspost wherever you see fit, it would be nice to at least spread awareness for the situation.
iirc her mother also made an account signing that right away for setting up parental controls, so there a bit more to unpack here
Those terms of service have been repeatedly been found completely unenforceable in court.
yeah… but companies will still bring them up to put up more barriers (even if those will get torn down) against getting sued.
