Republicans this year quietly cut millions of dollars of funding for the late and beloved Dolly Parton’s children’s book charity, according to multiple reports. Imagination Library, the nonprofit founded by Parton that sends free books to children across the world, faces an uncertain future in Indiana and Missouri as Republican lawmakers limit public funding, Newsweekreported Wednesday.
Okay so after reading the article, the funds had already been taken away prior to her recent passing. The headline however makes it sound like they were vultures who didn’t even wait for her body to be cold before they came in and denied millions of dollars to school children. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still upset that the money is gone from a good cause, but this kind of misleading wording just keeps chipping away at whatever faith I still have in the media

There is a shitload more democrats could be doing to counter Trump. One of them is prebunking, and I don’t see one fucking democrat doing it. It’s a psychological technique where someone informs an audience beforehand about manipulative rhetorical techniques their opponent might use. It lessens the impacts of those techniques.
